There are two types of choices, the good and the bad. Good choices have good consequences and bad choices have bad consequences. I’ll admit I have made some bad choices in my life, all of which I regret. I tend to always worry about the mistakes I make, instead of thinking about all of the good things I’ve done.

I learned that I have to be responsible to the consequences that come with bad choices. I also learned that life isn't about the bad choices you make, but it’s about the good choices you can make in the present that will affect your future. If you stay stuck in the past, you’re just wasting time in your life that you could have spent on having fun and living life to the fullest.

All of the choices you make have consequences; this is a reason why you should always make good choices. The word of God says that when we make a bad choices or a sinful action, we have the opportunity to repent and have another chance to make to go the right path.

“My son, do not forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for length of days and years of life
and peace they will add to you.

Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you;
bind them around your neck;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you will find favor and good success
in the sight of God and man.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your flesh
and refreshment to your bones.”
